By setting a footer in Global properties, related links such as child topics can be produced automatically for all topics which have child topics. You can also set it for sibling topics as in the product topics in this demonstration system.

The breadcrumb trail shows the route in the hierarchy of topics to the one you are viewing at the time. You can set XDK to produce this automatically in the Headers Global Properties. You can also set Cascading Style Sheet  (CSS) properties so for example the text size can change when you hover over an item.

Automatically produced Toolbar to assist Navigation. You can set XDK to produce this automatically in the Headers Global Properties. You can also add extra buttons, for example, a Glossary button, to to the Tool bar.

You can set XDK to produce a copyright citation like the one below automatically in the Footers Global Properties.

XDK can produce automatically a Find (Recherche) facility to find any unique word in the system.
